Ugezu Jideofor Reacts After Hotelier, Olugbenga Owolabi was Kidnapped and Killed in Oyo State.
Nollywood veteran actor, Ugezu Jideofor, has taken to social media to express sadness,
following the death of a Nigerian American-based hotelier, Olugbenga Owolabi, was was
abducted and murdered by his abductees in Oyo state few days ago.
Recall that Olugbenga Owolabi, who happens to be the owner of Tana Suites in Ogbomoso,
Oyo State, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his hotel and later killed
in captivity on August 3.
According to Kemi Filani News, Olugbenga Owolabi was killed alongside with a staff of the hotel,
Rachel Opadele, who was a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH)
in Ogbomoso, after a ransom of 5 million Naira was collected from them.
And so, following such unfortunate report, Nigerian filmmaker, Ugezu Jideofor, took to his official Instagram page to state that such news is the saddest he has heard, adding that Nigeria as ran by clueless leaders has failed Olugbenga Owolabi, the same way they have failed millions of Nigerians.
