They Just Want To End My Career – Portable laments after being served with a N20 Billion Lawsuit
Okikiola Habeeb, also known as Portable, is in trouble after his former manager and concert
promoter Ijoba Danku entered into a dubious deal with an international music promoter.
According to Gistlover, the Zazuu Crooner claimed in a video going viral online that Freezy
Entertainment, the international promoter, had promised to procure him a US visa, but that
he had given up on the contract after going to the interview and failing five times. He also
described how they asked him to travel with ten unidentified persons,
however he was still unable to obtain a visa.
According to Portable, a new buddy promised to help him obtain a US visa and drive
him to the US. However, the Entertainment label with which his former manager and
promoter had a contract asked that he pay 12 million Naira before they would release
them from the previous agreement.
The 28-year-old agreed and negotiated for installment payments. He claims that he has
already paid N2 Million thrice and is unable to make the remaining N12 Million payment.
The artist continued by saying that the international label is demanding 20 billion Naira in damages
before they can cancel the agreement that will allow him to visit the United States of America without incident.
